What's On - October to December 2016

Throughout October the exhibition at our Gallery features seascapes, seabirds, beach and coastal views, with ceramics, felt and glass forms, all by the Studio Artists “made in Saltburn” with additional cards and prints for sale.

The Gallery is open weekends from 12.00 till 4.00 pm.

In November we are holding our next Open Studios and opening our Christmas exhibition, showcasing more work by the Studio Artists with a wide range of individual paintings, jewellery, ceramic, felt and glass pieces… Ideal original gifts for families and friends.

Come and enjoy the exhibition, meet the artists and listen to live music at Saltburn Artists Studios and Gallery.

Saltburn Studios

SALTBURNARTISTS’PROJECTS is a registered charity which has run Saltburn Studios and Gallery in Saltburn-by-the-Sea since 1998.

Saltburn Studios have 15 studio spaces which are occupied by 17 artists and makers. There is a wide range of artistic disciplines being practiced in the studios including photography, website design, felt making, painting, costume design, mosaics, sculpture, surface design, ceramics and glass making. The artists form a thriving artistic community. Our aim is to create an inspirational environment for artists, curators, educationalists and the community.

The range of different artistic disciplines being practiced in the studios means that it is an exciting and creative place to work.

We have a number of Open Studio events throughout the year, our artists also run regular workshops.

We have a Gallery at the front of the Studio Complex which has regular exhibitions showcasing the Studio Artists’ work.

The Studio Artists run the Gallery on a volunteer basis, opening every weekend from 12 noon until 4pm.

We currently receive no grant funding and operate as a self sufficient organisation.
