Saltburn Studios & Gallery

whats on - Canvas Carousel - Our new Exhibition opens on the 6th May and runs until 25th June 2017.

We are still busy creating...

Our Gallery is currently closed due to the pandemic but our
Studio Artists are still busy creating in their studios.
In the window space of our Gallery we have an evolving
everchanging Exhibition featuring artwork by our 17 Studio
Artists, so have a look when you’re passing.
As soon as we can safely do so we look forward to welcoming
you all to our regular Open Studios Events.
You can keep in touch by following us on Facebook and
Instagram where we regularly post updates on what our
Studio Artists are up to.

SALTBURNARTISTS’PROJECTS is a registered charity which has run Saltburn Studios and Gallery in Saltburn-by-the-Sea since 1998.

Saltburn Studios have 15 studio spaces which are occupied by 17 artists and makers. There is a wide range of artistic disciplines being practiced in the studios including photography, website design, felt making, painting, costume design, mosaics, sculpture, surface design, ceramics and glass making. The artists form a thriving artistic community. Our aim is to create an inspirational environment for artists, curators, educationalists and the community.

The range of different artistic disciplines being practiced in the studios means that it is an exciting and creative place to work.

We have a number of Open Studio events throughout the year, our artists also run regular workshops.

We have a Gallery at the front of the Studio Complex which has regular exhibitions showcasing the Studio Artists’ work.

The Studio Artists run the Gallery on a volunteer basis, opening every weekend from 12 noon until 4pm.

We currently receive no grant funding and operate as a self sufficient organisation.

Come and Visit

We are open most weekends between 12 – 4pm so come and pay us a visit. Entry is free, tea and coffee is on the go, and sometimes there are biscuits!
