A contemporary gallery and artists’ studio complex in Saltburn-by-the-Sea in the North East of England. We exhibit a wide variety of different art forms from a range of artists and aim to create an inspirational environment for artists, curators, educationalists and the community. Saltburn Studios provides a forum for lively debate through a range of events and open discussions for the artistic, academic and regional audience. We also strive to encourage and nurture young artistic talent in the area by putting on free workshops. We hope to develop this in the future to include adult workshops.
Our studios are home to 17 local artists, all working in various different mediums.Our artists, along with guest artists, exhibit in our gallery space four times a year. At the opening of each exhibition our artists open their studios so that you can meet them in their own space and be inspired by their creativity.
You'll find our artists working in a variety of mediums including ceramics, weaving, paper cutting, pastels, painting, sculpture, stained glass, graphics and mosaics
