Pastel Artist & Graphic Designer
I’m a Graphic Designer with over 20 years of experience (BA Hons Graphic Design 2:1), who stumbled across surfing whilst backpacking around the world, back in the early 2000s.
Graphic design, web design, and animation had opened up opportunities for me to work all over the world… but it was discovering the surf lifestyle that knocked me off my career path and opened up a new pathway, full of adventure, fun times and stunning sunsets.
Now, living and working in Saltburn-by-the-Sea, I’m surrounded by other inspiring artists daily at the ‘Saltburn Studios & Gallery’ and it’s their passion and inspiration that have pushed me to explore different mediums, such as Soft Pastel painting.
Through my artwork I wanted to combine my love for the ocean and surfing, and mix it in with this beautiful little surf town of Saltburn-by-the-Sea, aiming to depict Surfing at Saltburn in a fun, bright and uplifting way!
