Join Barbara Powell-Jones for an exciting series of textile workshops this April, held in our inspiring gallery space at:
30–32 Marske Road, Saltburn-by-the-Sea, TS12 1QG

Session 1
Friday 17 April
10:30 am – 12:30 pm

Session 2
Friday 24 April
10:30 am – 12:30 pm

Cost:
£20 per session
£35 if you book both sessions (save £5)

The price includes all materials and equipment, plus tea/coffee and homemade cake.
You are welcome to attend just one session or continue developing your work across both workshops.

Aim

These workshops will focus on working with pieces of fabric, a mixture of threads, and simple hand-stitching techniques inspired by the Japanese traditions of Boro and Sashiko. Using Alastair Snow’s exhibition as a starting point, participants will explore texture, layering, and mindful stitch.

The workshops are open to everyone – no experience necessary.
